How to install single-phase asynchronous motor
Before the installation of the motor, the insulation resistance of the stator winding to the casing and between the main winding and the auxiliary winding shall be measured. The resistance value at room temperature shall not be less than 10M Ω. Otherwise, the winding shall be dried and the bulb heating method can be used.
The shaft extension diameter of the motor has been grinded to the standard tolerance size when leaving the factory, so the internal diameter of the pulley or other matching parts that the user needs to use should be the accessories of the national standard. During installation, just push or gently knock the shaft extension table by hand. It is forbidden to hit it with a hammer, otherwise it is easy to break the centrifugal switch, causing the motor to fail to start, damage the bearing, and increase the running noise of the motor.
Before installing the motor to the supporting machinery, carefully check whether the foot part of the motor has cracks and affects the mechanical strength and other problems. Once problems are found, installation and use are prohibited. The motor shall be installed on the flat plate with fixing holes and fixed with bolts corresponding to the foot holes.
To ensure safety, the grounding wire must be connected to the grounding screw of the motor and reliably grounded before the motor runs. The copper wire with a sectional area of not less than 1m ㎡ should be selected as the grounding wire.
